I wouldn't want to work for Sir Alan! However, if anyone has a pitch they'd like me to put to Dragon's Den.....I do fancy having a pop at that if only to turn down their meagre offerings but take advantage of the publicity.

yes, i quite fancy a crack at the Dragons Den. I would have applied sooner but the business is evolving more now so until things settle down i would not fancy pitching it on national tv

Am happy to pitch to them, I just don't need any investment nor do I want to sell any part of either of my companies! I'm not frightened of TV I think it'd be fun (in my other life for a good few years pre kids I used to pitch to companies for a living)

On the dragons den it always seemed like they were begging for money. They always seem to get screwed with the final deal, no where near what they want. Entertaining to watch.
The apprentice is a good show although I can't understand why they pick people that aren't suited to his organisation, like that scottish woman lecturer that got sacked (sharon I think).

I like both programs, but i do think that the dragon den is abit on the rude side. I dunno, i just get the impression that the people with the money think to highly of them selves. They dont appreciate the fact that people have actualy come up with something and want to share it with them.

Sir Allen also leans towards this, but i just think that thats his personnality. Comes across a bit strong, if you know what i mean.

I think the fact it's (supposedly) the Dragons Den peoples own money at stake (but I bet most of the money is their TV fee)
Aside from which it makes more entertaining TV - if they were 'nice' to everyone would we want to watch it?

You have a fair point, but if you look at from the other point of view, some people are also put off becasue of how they behave...

MMM the Dragons den? having just come back from the Geneva invetors fair and had lots of great results the only positive thing i can think about The dragons den is the prime TV exposure. Providing you go on the programe with all the correct IP then fine but i can't get over the Television hype of the attitude of the people on that programme, i would love to go on the programme but there is no way i would give up a big part of my company for the sake of needing money i have the ideas and inventions but little money. MMM well it's all part of working it out and the solution is getting there. I would rather wait than be humiliated by some big wig that has obviously got so much money they need to go on television and humiliate people that want to exploit their dreams.
