Book Keeping Courses

Hello i am about to become self -employed after many years (paye),
dont have a clue about self assesment vat, but i am going to be a sole trader with min turnover, and i know if i keep my invoices and receipts in order things will not be do bad.
what i would like to know if any one knows if there is any short basic book- keeping courses available, which are good and cheap, pref in london area.
