Business Planning : First Step for Business Starter - 21-12-2005, 08:25 AM

Strategic planning is the fist step to start a new business. Strategic Planning helps to develop all your strategic goals collaboratively across your enterprise and monitor your performance against the key indicators of your financial and operational plans. The strategic planning software should have these features

a. It should be easy to put creative strategic plan
b. Implementing strategic planning goals should be easily & effective
c. There should be feasibility to create strategic planning reports
d. There has to be good graphical representation

Build clear strategic planning concepts or models using strategy map. I come across some strategy mapping tool

That's a valid point regarding business planning. The other thing is too that it's good to reflect on business plans once a company is up and running to make sure that the business is still on track and hasn't lost sight of it's original business objectives. Business plans may also be updated through the course of business as markets and industry changes to reflect current operations.
