Hello, I'm new here! Just a couple of questions which are probably (possibly... ) easy to answer - I am going through the first stages of putting things in place to start a business. I am not 100% sure it will generate enough to live on for now, so I am thinking of possibly running it while keeping my full time job. Question one: What about NICs? Would I be expected to pay the Class 2 NIC as well as the NIC I pay through my wage?
The business would involve (as a small to medium sized part) selling collectables via the internet, ie postcards, old photographs, coins (probably no earlier than 17th century), a few not-too-valuable metal detecting finds, old bottles (quite a few) etc etc - you get the picture. Question two: Would I need an export licence for any which went abroad?
