Steve,

Do you mean you will fix the computer and then try and sell it overseas ?

I remember when I worked in Belgium all their keyboards were different and of course they have different plugs (although the power is fine)

Where were you thinking of selling ? Might be worth a look online or a visit to see what others are doing in that market (or try and find a partner) if there's enough profit in it for you

Hi mate,

Basically we're collecting decent spec PC's from local Blue Chip companies and after speaking to a rival company based in the South it seems there's more money to be made by exporting overseas, unsure which countries though!!

Biggest problem is going to be configuring the computers for the other countries. It's not just the power leads but also the keyboeard, OS and OEM software. This means you are going to have to buy non-english copies of all the software, and that's not going to be cheap. In fact thinking about it, the seller is probably going to keep the licenses in order to upgrade to a now OS.

And shipping individual computers is not going to be cheap either (and where are you going to get the packaging from). Of course if you could get a deal to export a container's worth of computers to an english speaking country then the deal might start to become attractive.

In which case the computers would be sent without any OS. And the keyboards etc would be sorted out by the overseas buyer.... As for shipping that's all got to be looked into!
