Hi All,
I have an opportunity to take over and grow a digital agency which I have been involved in since formation; however I have had a tough couple of years and do not have liquid cash at my disposal!! (I know same old story!!)
I am looking for between £5K and £10K to allow me to build the company and complete provisional contracts in the pipeline.
I must stress that I am not looking for advice or guidance as to the viability of the business as I am experienced in this sector; I am simply looking to find out if how I am trying to raise the money would be an attractive opportunity for an investor.
So here it is:
24 month investment period
47% return Guaranteed
Initial Investment underwritten by Premium Bonds
A quarterly payment of £300 will be made to the investor (Total £2400)
The initial Investment will be returned in month 24 (£5000)
I am able to guarantee the quarterly payments due to my current contracts and can guarantee the investment by way of family premium bonds.
Basically, my father has said that he will act as guarantor and in the event the business cannot repay the £5000, he will cash his premium bonds to clear the debt. That way he still has the opportunity to win over the next 2 years, and if he doesn’t then it can be an early inheritance!
I have turned 30 this year and have had some bad luck over the last couple of years and this is an opportunity to turn my life around.
My Dad would at a push cash his bonds now, however by offsetting it by 2 years, it gives me the breathing space to build the business and him the chance to hold on to his bonds for a couple of years at the least.
I know I am paying a high rate for what is basically a loan, but due to the importance of this opportunity I am happy to do it to get it off the ground.
Any feedback would be great...
