marketing of personalised canvasses -
24-06-2008, 07:27 PM
Ive just been reading some threads on here and i have just had an idea, i sell personalised canvasses, that incorporate favorite football clubs etc. at the moment i only sell on my website, which as been up and running for about 3 weeks, by the end of the day i will have one liverpool canvas on e-bay,that can be personalised to see what kind of response i get.
How else could i promote this kind of product I thought of party plan, but not really my scene, unless i could link up with someone who does partyplan and think that a canvas product would fit in with thier current portfolio. Any advice would be appreciated simon |

Get in touch with the local paper's business editor - they may like to run an article on you and your business. Talk to them first and see if they can give you a steer - you will need to write the copy.

Interesting question fisicx, i assumed that as i am not marketing the product as official merchandise i would be ok, there are hundreds if not thousands of places i have seen football products for sale, i cant imagine for 1 minute that they all have permission. simon

Simon - I think that you need to check that out as I think that you are breaching copyright whether you are marketing the stuff as official merchandise or not.
Surely if it isn't "official" it's "bootleg" and illegal factoring, invoice discounting, asset finance and trade finance specialist broker. Founder member of the Independent Factoring Brokers Association |
