Sole Trader Advice Needed - 25-03-2007, 03:19 PM

Hi Everybody

I have been reading through many posts on here and find the advice offered very good. Now i need some advice if anyone can help.

I recently started an online equestrian clothing business part time as i currently have a full time job. The business has taken off more than i expected and current turnover is 10,000 in 3 months. Profit currently stands at 4,000 and i have not taken anything out the company for myself.

My questions are as follows.

1. How to i draw money out for myself?
2. I intially put in 3,000 to start the business can i withdraw this?
3. I work from home what can i charge the business for. ie rental of spare room for office, gas , electricty etc.

Any advice would be most welcome as i'm afraid i have gone into this with closed eyes and suddenly i'm beginning to get worried with tax issues etc.

Kind Regards

Carl
