Help needed!

Hello everybody,

For my master thesis I am interested in finding out what kind of questions business people frequently make to each other. More specifically, requests that call for some sort of action. A few examples are:

- asking a colleague to edit a written report
- asking a colleague to write a story for the business magazine
- asking a collegue to prepare a presentation

As you may see, these are all requests that in some require time and effort of the other. These are just examples that I came up with. But since I am a student and not familiar with requests that are frequently made within organizations, I would very much appreciate any help you might give. So who can provide me with more examples of requests (the kind as mentioned above)?

requesting accounts department for information regarding sales in the last quarter etc
