i think that as a business person i would definately igonor this site unless my business required me to know how to talk about smoking, drinking, killing time on the street by doing nothing and picking up girls.

Fair enough if you don't like that post but there is more than doing nothing on that website from the beginners lessons to advanced lessons if you really looked at them. You can igonor it or you can have a good look at it then make your points. Thank you.

Yes, it seems like a good site. Thankyou.

I currently am studying Modern Chinese in Australia at the ANU as part of a combined Actuarial/Finance degree.

Initially I found Mandarin a big load and it required a massive paradigm shift and rewiring of my minds previous learning style. I have to access sections of my mind that had laid dorment since my early years!

The most difficult part is learning all of the required disciplines at once. Writing is a crucial tool and helps facilitate the wholistic learning process. If you know what I am trying to say, although no doing too good a job.

Good luck to any who try. It is well worth it. A great challenge, but equally as rewarding and illuminating.

Best to all,

ikkyu.

This site is very good there are links to other providers with accommodation for business interns. Accommodation starting from one week to more. I hope to get time off and go to China next year for at lest a month. I'm starting classes here. This should help my biz before the olympics.

Info appreciated.
