The roles of parents is to guide their children in their growth and development. Parents must teach them how to be a good member of the family as well how to respect other people. They must also provide their children with love and respect.

In addition they are speaking positively into their lives.

Finally, it is proven that kids who have discovered their relationship with God and Jesus as their Saviour are much less in trouble with the law.
Well I must be one of the exceptions........all the unanswered questions and 'rules' caused real problems to me in my very long life. Just like eating the wrongs foods/drinks affected my mental (including cognitive and co-ordination issues) capacities. It took me 32 years to realise the truth.
I feel sorry for all parents with children who can't make sense of anything they're taught..........NONE of the parents are warned about the MASSIVE ill-effects that diet and wrong beliefs systems (such as believing a fictitious 'heavenly' saviour will 'save' anyone) has on the brain/intellect.

Not only the ill effects of diet, but also environmental exposures to thing that hurt us. Lead in the home, medicines that are prescribed that really are not needed, lack of exercise and fresh air. It all adds up to a brain and body that don't work quite correctly.
