Red face Help for the un-initiated - 12-05-2005, 11:01 AM

Could we have an area or discussion thread where you computor experts could elaberate or educate someone like me, who only switches on the PC,logs in and hasn,t a clue how anything actually works.I often get bogged down not knowing what you guys are talking about

Peter-If I new the questions I might be someway to finding the answers.Its the technical terms people use and abrieviations?!Suppose thinking about it if all you techy guys made it simple for us yoyo,s you would spend 99% of your time explaining everything

Mark-I think you are probably right.I,m finding that this site has a bias towards computor,web, internet businesses and as I am more conventional business orientated I find it difficult to keep up and understand all the jargon which tends to cload any advice I may be able to offer.Any solutions you could offer would be appreciated

There are sites which you can search for definitions such as

There will be others, perhaps someone else has a better suggestion
