Multiple posting -
17-08-2005, 02:24 PM
There has been a spate of new members posting the same thing across multiple forums. Generally this is just spam but occasionally the posts may be genuine but the rule of thumb is often that if it resembles spam, it will be treated as spam.
I assume that all new genuine forum members will have their eyes naturally drawn to a forum titled "Forum Rules" so we would please ask you to only start your thread in the single most appropriate forum. I will be very honest. I joined this forum less than 20 mins ago and have already broken this rule. What I did is I started posted my messages in a sort of “row” and when I came to the end, I saw “Forum Rules”. I have read the rules and now fully understand what is expected of me. I don’t want to sound rude but I might suggest that you put the rules in the beginning so there will be no doubt that everyone has seen it. Thank you very much for your patience.

The rule is actually a very good one and helps to keep the tide of SPAM at a minimum, if you participate in the forums then 30 posts is nothing... You will get these in no time
