My Brain suffered some downtime this weekend too, a massive intake of larger caused by....THE HEAT!
Seriously though... Heat should not be a factor in the hosting business, most datacenters have adequate air-con / cooling... ![]() Feel free to contact me with any website issues. |

Yep agree with Tony, If my host offered that as an excuse Peter I would seriously question their setup and would be looking for another provider.

* boom * server offline for one and half hours servers are in TelecityRedbus which I thought was the best ? |

Redbus currently has 3 DC's in London - all of which are slightly different but generally offer similar levels of connectivity and equipment... As for the best datacenter... Mmmm NASA has a few good ones and IBM has a massive state of the art facility that Redbus Interhouse could only dream of
Then we have "The Bunker" which is an ex Nuclear Bunker which is supposed to be the "safest" place in the world to store your data... As you can see Peter, there are lots of DC's that are way beyond the "humble" facilities in London - but even so.... HEAT is not an excuse, even for the smallest of DC. If you owned a car that overheated in the sun beause the fan couldn't cope, you would be straight back at the dealership demanding a refund ![]() Feel free to contact me with any website issues. |

Don't get me wrong - I am not bashing your current host because I am trying to win a new client... I don't work like that
Just to be 100% sure I have been finding out off various sources who I know have servers or suites in both Redbus Sovereign House and Redbus Meridian Gate (both in London) and apart from a slight heat problem on Friday (restricted to one small area of one DC) there have been NO heat problems at Redbus - infact I have seen a temp graph from a server at Redbus and tempertures were actually LOWER this week than in previous weeks (by about 5 degrees). I know that Teneric has been up and down a lot recently - you certainly seem to need some stability Are you currently on shared hosting or a dedicated server? Feel free to contact me with any website issues. |

so you may have noticed some downtime today and no one could order anything from about 11.30 - luckily a customer notified me.
My wonderful host decided to upgrade/ change some software which caused the error - all sorted now I believe so apologies for that again. |
