Hi Liam and welcome

Are there any areas you want a specific look at ?

Perhaps you can provide a bit more detail about the site and your expectations? Can you let us have information as outlined here >>

The Slim Company is a personal training and nutrition company. The website is about 6 months old but it's just be redone.

The wesbite has a number of inbound links, but I'm working hard to increase it's link popularity (forums, articles, directories and affiliations).

The keywords I'm targeting are "personal trainers", "slimming clubs" "weight loss" and "home fitness" in Hitchin, Letchworth, Baldock, Stevenage and Hertfordshire. I guess that's quite a lot!

There are some minor coding erros that I'll sort out soon, so I'm not too concerned about that side of things!

My target market are men and women looking to lose weight or get fit... either at home or the gym. Ideally veteran dieters who are fed up with slimming clubs and quick-fix diets and want a long term weight management solution.

Why will someone do business with us?... have a look at our testimonials page - http://www.theslimcompany.com/success.htm - We have a lot of satisfied clients who have kept their weight off.

The purpose of the site is to generate telephone and email enquiries.

Design suggestions would be very much appreciated!

Thank you so much!

Liam

A great site, clean, uncluttered, there is a nice space to the website, however as i am nutritional challenged, so a bit to close to home.

Now going to the kitchen and demolish six packets of crisps lol

You have a nice website, and good luck with the website and business.

Are you the owner of the business or is it a franchise?

The site itself looks very nice. You make use of lots fo Javascript for the rollover effects though, which can be disabled in most browsers. Your site still works fine, even with Javascript disabled, but you lose out on the rollover effects. You can use CSS to mimic the rollover effects though.

I'm not sure how to convert the rollovers to CSS...

The task is very simple if you are proficient at CSS!

Basically, you set up a style for each nav link and put your image as the background. Then use a:hover for the rollover image.

I agree that the site looks good - the only thing missing is a call to action on the homepage.

It might also be a good idea to give a bit more detail on the programme pages to tell prospective customer exactly what they get for their money.

Sorry! I really should do something about that. :P

As for the rollovers, in your stylesheet, you would basically have something that looks like this:

a {
background-image: url("url/of/image/here.jpg");
}

a:hover {
background-image: url("rollover/image/url/here.jpg");
}

It may take a second for the page to load the rollover images though, so you might notice a brief flash before the rollover image is displayed.
