I need an honest opinion on www.janta.co.uk - 01-12-2004, 02:46 PM

Hi all,

Janta has been alive for 3 - 4 months now and I need opinions on the look and feel of the site:

http://www.janta.co.uk

I am currently working on making Janta multi-browser compatible, so if you are using Firefox, Opera or Netscape some pages look a little warped.

Thanks

it worked OK in IE

I just tried again in netscape and it gave an error - the source of the code was:

<html><head><title>Error</title></head><body>The parameter is incorrect. </body></html>

My version of netscape is:

Netscape 7.1
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 Netscape/7.1 (ax)

That’s one of the server’s protection filters kicking in; I will have a look into relaxing them a bit. Why can't the browser people get together and have one standard. Anyway back to the original post please give me some feedback on the look and feel of Janta.

Nice one - 02-12-2004, 12:16 PM

Hi there,

I am using Firefox and do so for all my designing, then test it in NS, IE and OPera. The site looks fine and dandy in Firefox...just testing NS....looks fine there too. Nice looking site, well designed, nice colours, seasonal too. Who designed it? will have to watch out for the competition

My only point would be that it is not that clear what you do, I would put something on the homepage.

Other than that, well done - am going to sign up!

Hey cubidimagery thanks for the comments, the site is all my own design, may be a little too much white spacee wiree effect but I like it. Thank you for signing up. I have just had a little browse through your portfolio, very proffessional; I like your design skills a lot.
