Hi Peter,
First of all, I would like to say I loved your training. The only problem for me is that I am starting and feeling really lost trying to put things together. If you could please give me some advice on my website: http://www.blastincome.com I changed so many time after I started listening to your videos, that I don't know where to go anymore. General advices , some on designing also My target is for people looking for work at home, so is really vast. Keywords (here is another problem, don't know which ones would work better):blast your income, working from home marketing tips, I also think that I messed up with my codes, or I never had H1,H2 ... Thanks a lot |

I accept your comments, but that's exactly why I came here. For help.
I am trying to do a serious job, not a scam and I need some advices. So, what should I do? That was the way Stone created the site. Should I pay someone to redo? thanks |

These are not scam sites, they are Plug In Profits sites, which are all based on the same backgrounds and images with your own affiliate links added.
I have a similar one in my signature. jim |

graall,
The problem with all these schemes is that they are based around a standard template. You can change the words, colours, fonts etc but at the end of the day all you are delivering is a one page site that contains exactly the same as everybody else doing the same thing. And because all the sites contain the same information the search engines will walk right on by. For example, your top promotion has the opening sentance 'Fast-Track Your Journey To Online Success' A google search for this phrase returns 253000 results. In other words you are competing against 253000 other sites all running the same promotion. There is no simple solution to your problem. Like any other business you are going to need to do some work. I suggest you start by researching all the guides you can find on how to build websites, search engine optimisation, copy writing, linking statgies, affiliate marketing and so on. Once you have an understanding of the business then you can start to modify the site. Incidentally, I was reading an article the other day which suggests that sites with 100+ pages do better in the SERPs. A one page site like yours isn't even going to register in the top 1000. Try writing articles, do reviews of the products you are selling, promote your own experiences and so on. |

As far as I know, a plug-in profit site is pre-designed but all the links are replaced with your affiliate links. Something like a site of mine here:
http://www.wealthyaffiliate.co.uk/ As the previous poster said, the problem is they all look essentially the same. Now I'm not saying you won't make any sales off it (I do from mine) but it's going to be harder than if you have a good quality 'original' site. I make more through my blog (http://wealthyaffiliateuk.blogspot.com) than I do from the site above. Pyramid selling is where you make commissions on products/services you sell, but then a certain percentage of your profits get fed back up the chain (or pyramid) to the people above you (ie. the people who brought you into the scheme, and then the people who brought them into the scheme, etc...) Pyramid schemes have been around for years, even before the internet (Wow! There was a time 'before' the internet!) - I remember answering an ad in the local paper when in my teens for something which looked genuine, but it became apparent at the interview that it was just another pyramid scheme, hawking stuff from door-to-door and giving a slice to the guys above you. The people doing this are very good at sucking you in, and really drive home the (supposed) benefits without really explaning what the scheme is. Kinda like politicians really. I did manage to resist their offer though, fortunately. Get Rich Quick Sites - my definition of these is the numerous sites (such as Rich Jerk, AutoPilot Income, DayJobKiller, etc...) which virtually guarantee that if you buy their e-book you cannot possibly fail to become a millionaire by doing no more than a couple of minutes a day on the PC, and then picking your nose and playing golf for the rest of the day. (Now, I'm not saying that Rich Jerk and DJK, for example, don't contain truthful information - because they do. It's just that they massively hype the promise of financial freedom, and prey on people's hopes/fears) You need to narrow your target market. You say your target is "people looking for work at home". As stated, every man and his dog has a site like this. You need to narrow this market down and find a smaller niche - could they be retired people, students, pregnant mums, etc... - and target your advertising campaigns at one of these segments and make it relevant for them. What kind of phrases would they possibly type into Google? "Make Money At Home" is too broad, and you would get a lot of tyre-kickers. "Supplement my pension by affiliate marketing" is a (very) long tail keyword, but if your site hit the buttons for these searchers, you would get much better conversion rates. Hope that's been of use. cheers. Nick |

i'm not sure what your site offers.... every time i click a link it opens a new window with a completely different site design, like to sell a ebook..
my advice is to keep to the same design throughout the site and make the put it simple what exactly the site offers. |
