Still got a timeout even running tracert. But I did discover that the default URL on the server is www.bideasynow.com - which I can access so I don't think it's a firewall issue.

This site however looks suspiciously like dynabid.org (even with the same horizontal scrolling)!

There was a discussion on another forum about a site that had a similar problem. The problem was not here in the UK or in the US (where the server was) but somewhere in between. It was the IP addresses from a massively shared servers that caused the problem. It appeared that this server was hosting a huge number of 'clone' sites and the connections were just collapsing under the load. The problem was only soved by moving the site to a less busy server.

Not saying that this is the problem here but it's always worth talking to the host. Do you really need to be hosted on a US server?

Update, got onto the site from another IP but it's still incredibly slow to load.
