We have now got 13 members and 305 auctions and have had 5 sales we ve added most viewed items on the homepage and soon be adding featured stores we think we have solved the register.php problem we were having earlier

Nice looking site.

My comments would be:

- what on earth is dynaduck?
- you don't say what the site is - we have to guess it's an auction site - perhaps a *short* <h1></h1> intro line or a tag line underneath your logo would help ?
- don't get the plastic duck at all

Thanks for the comments dynaduck is our mascot we thought we will be different and have one but we had to think of something that would match the auction site title dynabid (dynaduck) we give our members a free store free listing templates which make auctions stand out more and £10.00 free credit to use on your listings our fvf is only 1% which is very low to ebays 5.75% and ebids 3% we do have some more features to add eg featured stores on the homepage etc we also submit all auctions to msn live search and we will soon be adding google base as well we also have most of the main payment methods available on the auction site the site is also ssl secured for safe registration any suggestions welcome we may change the duck

we have decided to get rid of the duck on our homepage and we are looking for some suggestions any ideas please post also we need ideas on what we can put down the left hand side of the homepage as well any ideas welcome many thanks

good idea...

i like your site, but i think it will be hard to build a big customer base.

low fees are nice, but you'll need $1,000,000 sold items for $10,000 revenue.

what about, concentrating on a niche instead?

I don't mind the duck but it is a hard thing to brand a site on. Remember, Linux Operating System used a black owl for their logo.

But, I don't imagine that the logo is what is real important to any site, it is the purpose, monetary and essentials that make a site really good.

I've seen other sites try the auction game, but I wouldn't do it, unless there is a power seller offering articles in high demand -- then linking those featured items to a PPC marketing campaign.

Auctions need action to make them a hit, but good luck to you.
