Please review Exactrate!

I finished work with my site (http://www.exactrate.net) and launched it. Since I did it alone and not really good at designing. I don't know how it looks in others' eyes. Maybe there is something I need to change to make it better. Please help me review Excatrate to see what I should fix. The site is about exchange rates. I really thank for your help!

1. The "Currency Rate Converter Widget" and "Currencies Calculator Widget" links open up in new windows. This isn't a terrible disaster but should be avoided. (Google "should links open in a new window" for discussions on when you should or shouldn't open new windows)

2. I would prefer not to have to register to use these tools or install them on my website (if at all possible - but I understand if you have to track usage etc).

3. I think the horizontal banner ad near the top of the page is distracting.

4. The "World Currencies" and "More FREE Tools" links in the top right corner don't work (for me, at least)

5. I like the fact that clicking on the logo (top left corner) returns me to the homepage.

All in all your website feels a bit sparse with no easily accessible content (not even screenshots of what the tools look like).

Widget links take me to a login page.

Your exchange rates are inaccurate.

Pound to euro is 1.11 across a range of sites. You have 1.09

Like 1000's of other websites you too are prefering to ask for others details before use of your site, but not one word on your site about who we are giving these private details too, so the site wont be used by very many I fear, I know we wont as we like others can get exchange rates from 100's of live up to date sites without our details.

It looked very messy to me, there were odd spaces and the combination of many diffrent images and icons is confusing to me. Then the page finished loading and it looked a little better. I'd sudgest you possibly need less scripts in the page or better hosting to speed things up.

I can't see why I would visit your site above the other conversion sites however?
