Hello.
Our webiste webcrate.net. It`s a collection of links to tutorials about site creating. From html to Photoshop and many others. You can vote on them to choose the best ones. Material for beginners as well as advanced webmasters. PHP, XTHML, Photoshop, Ruby on Rails, JavaSript, AJAX, WordPress , infomations about the most beautiful free templates, icons, fonts, etc.
Would you change anything?

It's just a bunch of links to articles. Nothing really different to hundreds of other sites.

I actually found the site annoying to use as it takes two clicks to get to the article.

I also think you are missing a whole bunch of links to authoriatve sites, off the top of my head I can think of 20-30 internationally recognised sites that are missing from your article directory.

The other problem of course is that many posts seem to be self promoting (may not be but that's how it seems) and you are getting spammed as there appears to be no moderation before publication.

Could do with a little more unique content on your chosen subject (for me) link are all well and good - provided they are to the best quality sites that you know but if you had more articles and content on your site itself the would give the site more credence.

In a nutshell: looks okay, links seem moderately interesting (probably depends how much you're into webdesign).

Not sure why a crate is involved, it's not an object or concept that I would associate with web design, links, learning, information etc.

http://webcrate.net/avatars/user_upl...orysses_30.jpg is 404, so it shows up as a broken image on the Top Users page. A few of the usernames are too long for the table cells and end up on a separate line to their icon.

The "Other Freebies" text spills out of the blue navigation bar (on my PC, anyway).

On the homepage I can see an article about a Burberry scarf(!), and "Fast Liquid Fast" on the upcoming page (liquid dieting, not liquid CSS layouts)

Not knowing the latest web trends it reminds me of digg, the concept is weaker though. It's the classical script I'm not too found of like fisicx. There is a problem with moderation and general site appeal, returning visitors, aso. Also I don't see the point of the site if you don't add monetization.

The category links...aaayaay... take too much space as you can see, so you should remove smth like "JQuery".
And... of course place "others" last.

The domain, webcr(e)ate isn't bad as it's from just 2 words and the site is a link container after all. Though ppl will tend to type the com version.

Just when I rechecked your site it didn't load anymore, so site5 may not be the right choice for hosting...

Btw what's your plan with this site?
