Hello,

I was wondering if you would be able to review my website.

I have written and launched a Taxi Fare Calculator for the UK. It is FREE to use and enables people to get an accurate estimate of what a taxi should cost.

The idea came to me after constantly getting different taxi fares from regular routes that I used. I couldnt find an easy way of calculating what a fare should be online so I wrote this website.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Well I had a go at your site, I know the cost from Carlton Col Suffolk to Norwich, I put the place in (Norwich) to travel to from my house and the daytime travel cost your site gave me was spot on, I know because I done the trip by cab a few days back.
Very good, well done, will be a good site for people to put in the web browser on any PC.

I tried to use it and it asked me for the name of the local authority. Mine wasn't listed. If I wanted to check the cost of a taxi from a train station or airport I would have to guess the local authority.

I'm assuming that the listed taxi companies are only those who advertise with you - neither of those listed were within the 10 miles stated on thwe website.

I think it's a great idea and I'm sure it will prove to be very useful but the usability needs a bit of work.
