We've just launched the first version of our website. Any feedback would be great, especially with regards to making contact with us.

Thanks

Hi,
Looks nice and tidy.
Maybe you need to work on the fonts, make things stand out a bit more like for instance telephone at the top and so on.

I think the font's too small! I have a large hight-res monitor and needed to increase the font size to make it readable. Which caused a major failure in the site layout.

However - Site is functional, looks clean and the colours are well matched.

But...

There is no impact on the homepage. Apparently I can 'Organise your business and personnel training'. That's it. You don't do any training according to your main header.

But you are running a 'Greivance Handling Workshop' on the 19th of JUNE. And I get a free executive buffet for any room booking in JUNE. I looked at your course dates as well. You are still publishing JUNE dates. Why are you treaching FrontPage - it's no longer supported by MS?

Lots of copy - but it's boring (sorry about that). It tells the corporate message and has no zing, no sparkle. You don't wow me with your sales pitch:
Quote:
The Ecom tutor will lead delegates through the functions and capabilities of Microsoft PowerPoint whilst ensuring all learning is put into context.
What does that actually mean? It just empty sales blurb. Why not:
Quote:
You will learn how to build a slideshow, change backgrounds, fonts and layouts, discover the different transitions, insert images and video clips and learn how to use powerpoint effectively when making presentations.
I'd really think again about the homepage and work on giving your copy some bling. Why not write it the way you present your lessons. In fact why not include clips of your tutors in action...

Effective Web Design - It's not that difficult if you follow the rules.

I am not sure why, but I have a hard time with your site. Moreover, I do not have the necessary skill to explain exactly what is too different about your site, but I think you site needs some help.

Here is a popular site: Prometric in you area of expertise.

I like the site. The design looks simple but still looking good. It's also easy to navigate. One thing I want to suggest is to expand the width of your site to add more content and to cover up some spaces on your background.
