Hi I would really like some of your help with advise on my new web design business. Please have a quick look though the site and give me any feed back. The text is being copy read at the moment so that will change. Site wholeland.co.uk

Hi Skinny,

Looks OK on the surface but as one delves deeper the murky waters reveal some nasties.

Site layout is fine, not my cup of tea but it's fairly innocuous. It looks pretty generic, as if I've seen it a thousand times before (and the fact that it was built using a WYSIWYG application doesn't help).

The text overlaps all the boxes on the right (I use large fonts).

The site is not XHTML valid.

Needs a lot SEO of work. Page titles, decriptions and headers are particularly weak.

Copy is all about you not about the customer.

You state your SEO services but the two portfolio sites have not been optimised (and on one of them it has copywrite 2007 and edesigned in 2008!).

Overall a nice looking site but not one that makes me go WOW!

A few thoughts for you to ponder...

Hey, the flower is just dandy -- great icon!

However, I think that you could use a tad more imagination in the design of things.
