Thanks Phil for the feedback. Do you have any ideas on how I would go about adding live hyperlinks as I have not got a clue on how to do this.

Thanks again,

Justin

Hi and welcome

Once you've added these links ensure your titles on the page are not blue and underlined (as this is what a link mainly consists of and may be confusing to the user)

Hi Phil,

What do you think of this idea about added description to my products?

I have thought about add something along the lines of a pop up box which pops up when you hoover over the image of the product with a full description of it.

Do you think something that would work?

well...what phrases do you think people will type into the search engines to find your site ?

Once you know this, you can target those words and phrases on your pages and page titles

It's the first thing to do for internet marketing

try the tools at digitalpoint.com (keyword suggestion) - type in "snooker cues" and see what other things are being searched for (also type in cues and snooker seperately).

One thing you can change is your first page title from "welcome to.." to "snooker cues from ..."

Type in "snooker cues" into google and see how the pages come up in the results - this will give you some idea of how pages are ranked

Not to sound disresepctful in anyway...I would take off the "This site is dedicated to..." This looks unprofessional and is very distracting.

With regard to the back tracking crumb trail, you can actually add a bit of code in that will automatically create a crumb trail for your site. It is too difficult to explain in here but here is a good tutorial... http://www.dreamweavermx-templates.c...crumbtrail.cfm

Feedback snooker pool cues. - 02-12-2004, 02:39 PM

Hi there had a quick look at the web site.

I will be blunt and constructive please do not be offended.

Its time to leave the past get rid of the dedication bit you are trying to sell for you, to a customer who doesnt care about anything but products they want and a deal or two.

Try to put a bit more body in the home page, a little info about snooker cues and pool cues. Be direct, (The pool and snooker shop that sells branded cues used by the proffesionals, branded high quality cues available for the player who wants to play like a demon). You have about 7 seconds to grab the visitors attention.
PUT SOME ONE LINE SENTENCES ON THE HOME PAGE THAT WILL INSTANTLY GRAB A POOL OR SNOOKER PLAYERS ATTENTION.

Now I have had a look at your tags, keywords and (title = Welcome To Baize Limited) this is the first line most search engines show, make it read (pool and snooker cues balls and accesories shop uk supplier. or somthing simmilar. A headline that will make a pool or snooker player be compeled to read on.

your meta keywords, pool cues, cues, snooker, pool cue supplier, pool cue store, pool table supplier.

Forget the italian names and so forth people are searching for pool cues snooker cues and tables concentrate on these with the keywords. Use overture keyword suggestion tool here to help you out.

http://www.content.overture.com/d/UKm/ays/index.jhtml

I do not really know the pool or snooker business so what I have given you above are examples, you could modify to suit your own needs.

As I travel deeper into the site to look at cues I keep getting this page that says for this cue or that cue contact us.

Get rid of them and put a part on the home page that says for products such as please contact us.
If you dont you will get rid of a whole boat load of customers as I found this opart quite annoying to say the least so what will your customer think.

The other pages that did have products I quite liked, well presented and well set out.

Remember that the customer is looking for a product, making it as easy as possible for him to find it is part of the battle.

Do hope this is of help and sorry for the blunt and any spellings that I got wrong.

Good luck with the site.
