Website Review - Dating Site in Beta Testing

Hi Guys,

Would love some feedback on my brand new project! Are You My Partner is a new dating site that is currently in Beta testing and I would love some thoughts.

Our aim is to raise £48,000 by Valentine’s day 2010 to fund a beta 2.0 site, do final testing, then… Take on the world.

£48,000 in 2 months - you do realise that you aren't going to get anywhere near that amount without spending double that in marketing.

The site held my attention for about 2 seconds. It appears to be all about me giving you money to build a dating website as if there weren't enough around already.

On a desigh front: the grey and green is difficult to read. There's is no WIIFM, no hook, no calls to action, no demos or examples. It's just all about you.
