Where am I going wrong?

Hi,
I'm new to the forum and would like to say how interesting I have found it.

I've had a site up and running for about 4 years now, recently my daughter and myself have revamped the site.
My problem is that it comes up last on Google search if I search for the keywords 'Manzes, pie, mash.
Another problem I have is that it is a UK site and if I search on 'UK pages only' it doent show up at all!.
If I type in the search bar site:www.manze.co.uk I get 'no documents found'

I would love some help from you guys if possible.

hi and welcome

took me 2 mins to find your problem

you have the following in your header:

(noindex means, well don't index this page - so they haven't - "your wish is my command!")

TAKE IT OUT !!!!!!!!!!!

oh, and add in a "META TITLE" header with the keywords that you want to be found under like "Menzes pie and mash restaurants" or whatever

lol, I guess keywords such as manze, pie and mash sound like drug words.

I've had a look at the site, but cannot find the 'noindex' that you refer to.
Have i managed to hide it somewhere?

you're using frames (which is unnecessary)

go to the home page and right click your mouse

then click "view" then "source"

you'll see the following code

you have the noindex and no title - see <title></title>

I'm not up to speed on frames so don't know where you would change this, but this is the prob

eg: have a look at the top of your browser and you'll see no title for the page

(suggestion - ditch frames)

This is crazy, I don't have the same content showing as you do. Ive been to the webhost site and gone into 'edit', but its not there?? No reference to frames either!

well it's definately there

you have a couple of things going on

your site is www. manze .co.uk but your frame source is to a free webserver (also a no-no really)

so what is going on at the real domain? (manze .co.uk?)

this will have the code I put up above and it is calling a framed page from your free hosting co

It seems that the domain is pointing to webspace elsewhere as the site is actually hosted at http://www.manze.freeservers.com.

I have never found this to be successful and as hosting is so cheap nowadays would suggest the site be transferred off a free host so that there are no redirects in place
